46 acres of meadows, woods, stream, extensive trail system with access for trout fishing (no harvesting - catch & release only)
Floodplain and wetlands are critical resources protected along the Valley Creek corridor
Haven for wildlife, including the great blue heron
During wet seasons some trails are impassable without boots

Parcels combined into preserve were gifts from Mr. & Mrs. Robert Maes in 1975, from Pohlig Builders in 1987, and purchases by the Conservancy in 1990 and 1997
A continguous conservation easement extends the greenway along Valley Creek to 69 acres
