Support The Open Land Conservancy

Open Land Conservancy is the oldest Land Trust in Chester County. Our lands help sustain the scenic character of this historical and once rural area. Deciduous forests, wild flower meadows and limestone streams enhance the region's natural beauty.

We encourage you to consider joining our 500 members and contributors in support of Open Land Conservancy's vital work. The Conservancy, with your help, will continue to protect open space enjoyed by many individuals and families living and working in the Great Valley and beyond.

Supporters can make a Memorial Gift donation in honor of someone special, or perhaps contribute an Honor Gift to say "Thank You!" to a friend or relative on their birthday, anniversary, or special occasion. Honorees will receive a card from the OLC with your desired message to recognize the gift and your generosity.

How has your support already made a difference?

  • Planted 400 native trees and bushes in October 2020 in George Lorimer, Cedar Hollow, Cool Valley, Valley Creek and Airdrie Preserves

  • Removed 2 acres of invasive Phragmites grass along Valley Creek and planted 750 native wetland-appropriate trees

  • Removed many Ailanthus trees from Cedar Hollow and George Lorimer Preserves.  This is important because these trees are both alien invasives and hosts for the invasive Spotted Lanternfly that threatens PA crops.

  • Maintained all trails to keep Preserves accessible and enjoyable for visitors; created a new access trail to Atwater and provided updated trail maps at Preserve entrances.

  • and much more!
